We are firm believers that when you graduate from Jameson High School or Bushmills University, you end up with Redbreast or the Spots being your next path into your Irish whiskey career. This was until Writers’ Tears came along. A marriage of inspiration and art, Writers’ Tears is inspired by the golden era of Irish Whiskey, pot still distillation and its deep, lasting bond with creative thinkers and artists.

Now we can’t guarantee that these drams will bring tears to your eyes, but as Long likes to explain it ‘we are working with 600 sqft in the shop, and there are very few brands we carry every expression of, but Writers’ Tears is indeed one of them, because they all deserve a seat at the table.’

Join us at Fiori D’Italia on Tuesday March 12th, 2024 as we have the full Writers’ Tears line-up ready to taste!

WT Expressions include; Copper Pot, Double Oak, Red Head, PX Marsala, Inniskillin Icewine and Cask Strength

Traditional Irish bites will be provided at the tasting buffet style. Not just potatoes, we promise.
