Fiori D’Italia is happy to announce an exciting whisky tasting event which will be structured around; Glenmorangie vs Ardbeg, Highland Scotch vs Islay, in conjunction with Allocated.
Join us this November 14th, 2023 at Fiori D’Italia as Allocated hosts its 2nd tasting event. The event will bring together whisky lovers and connoisseurs for an evening of exploration and indulgence, pitting the revered distilleries of Ardbeg and Glenmorangie against each other in a Highland versus Islay showdown.
This event will take place under the experienced guidance of brand ambassadors Travis Tidwell and Cameron George, who will share their extensive knowledge and insights about these iconic distilleries and the unique whisky regions they represent. This is a unique opportunity to delve into the nuanced world of Scotch whisky and understand the distinct characteristics that separate Highland and Islay styles.
Ardbeg, hailing from the windswept island of Islay, is known for its peaty, smoky whiskies, whilst Glenmorangie from the Highlands is famous for its smooth, fruity, and complex expressions. The event will feature a selection of expressions from both distilleries, offering attendees the chance to sample a variety of profiles and aged whiskies.
Brand Ambassador Cameron George, renowned for his passion and deep understanding of whisky, will lead the tasting for Ardbeg. On the other side, the eloquent and knowledgeable Travis Tidwell will be representing Glenmorangie. They will guide attendees through the tasting, sharing fascinating stories about the distilleries, their histories, and the people who craft these exceptional spirits.
